IT PiAST Dynamics AX WMS Client

Overview

- IT PiAST WMS Client helps to manage and control the flow of goods inside and between the warehouses,

- Automates handling of items in the warehouses with the use of bar codes,

- Can be hand-held or mounted on forklifts,

- Integrates with WMS (Warehouse Management System) I and II modules, applies to shipments, picking, pallet transports and item arrival or production input journals,

- Scans location and pallet bar codes, and transfers the data directly to Dynamics AX (Axapta),

- Provides simple to use, user-friendly interface.

How does WMS Client work?

1. WMS Client is provided by Axapta with shipment, pickings or pallet transport orders (1). The orders can be viewed by WMS Client over wireless in Real-Time.

2. WMS Client scanns the bar codes (2). The operator views the scanned data on the screen then starts the pallet transport. Before finishing, the operator must scan the bar code of the destination location. The operator can also change the location and pallet no. manually or by scanning other bar codes. After accepting the changes, a transaction is registered in Axapta and transport orders updated.

3. Transport documents (e.g. shipping cards) can be printed. Shipment, picking, pallet transport orders, item arrival or production input journals are updated in Axapta.
