IT PiAST Dynamics AX Warehouse Mobile Assistant

Overview

- IT PiAST Warehouse Mobile Assistant helps to automate handling of the shipping & receiving goods with a portable data collector,

- Register item name, quantity etc. by scanning EAN13 and EAN128 bar codes,

-Perform On-line or off-line work,


-Automatically searches item sales/purchase orders which are open (on-line),

- Can be assigned to handle goods in one or more warehouses,

- Provides enhanced support for Track & Trace control due to registering the manufacturer batch no.

- Enables immediate warehouse transaction posting and printing of transport documents (packing slips etc.).

How does Warehouse Mobile Assistant work?

Off -line

1. Warehouse Mobile Assistant (3) scans EAN bar code and reads item data. WMA collector operator downloads open sales or purchase orders for wanted items.

2. The operator chooses an appropriate purchase/sales order and optionally changes the quantities manually or by scanning bar codes.

3. The collector is attached to the docking station (2) and synchronizes data with Axapta. All the processed transactions are registered.
On-line
 
1. Warehouse Mobile Assistant (3) scanns EAN bar code and reads item data. WMA collector searches in Axapta (1) for open sales or purchase orders for the scanned item. All the operations take place on-line through wireless connection (2).

2. The operator chooses an appropriate purchase/sales order and optionally changes the quantities manually or by scanning bar codes.

3. After confirming, a transaction is registered in Axapta in Real-time.
