Solution description

IT PiAST successfully implemented Human Resources Management in Dynamics AX (Axapta). The project included HRM Modules I, II and III with additional functionality of Enterprise Portal with employee role. The solution provides complex support in the area of Personnel Management.

The basic functionality helps to keep and work with data about employees, applications and applicants, allows to analyze employee benefits, job descriptions and employee roles with tasks concerning company structure (including matrix and project structures).

All above helps to focus on key issues of human resources management like competence management. The system helps to discover full potential of the employees and helps to develop their abilities. Due to complex analysis of employee’s key skills, and the skill gap concerning positions, groups of positions, and other, it is much easier to plan careers’ paths. All above is done by easy to use tools, like advanced graphic reports, and built-in reporting system. The development of employees’ skills and abilities implicates course management. Thanks to Axapta HRM, it is easy to run courses and trainings projects. Enterprise portal provides the functionality of setting up dates and meetings for both internal and external courses and trainings.

But not only is the competence management the key issue of each Human Resources Manager. Our implementation covers recruitment projects as well. Organization, application and applicants management, e-mail automation, and meetings management is provided. Furthermore, the system may suggest which candidate is the most suitable for specific position. And this may be done by one mouse click. This is real time saving and lowering the risk in the whole recruitment process. Additionally, you may use Axapta to analyze media in recruitment – the area which is not necessarily appreciated by organizations.

Concerning other areas of human resources management, Axapta supports absence management. The absence management is very influential when we focus on effectiveness of the organization. Furthermore, the advanced functionality of generating reports and statistics provides the alarm list, which just in time warns HR Manager if the personnel shortage may occur.
